Unlike bottled drinks, our cubes only require clean drinking water: with a saving of up to 98% in plastic and CO2, we are getting closer and closer to this goal. But that's not all, we are also a plastic-positive company. With every package sold, we collect one plastic bottle from the environment – that is a waterdrop® promise.

We have a problem to solve.
Over 500 billion plastic bottles are produced every year. Even as one waterdrop® dissolves, 3 million more plastic bottles are put on the market. If you threw all the plastic bottles produced in the last 10 years into a pile, the 2,400 m high pile would be half as tall as Central Europe's highest mountain, the Mont Blanc.

In Europe, more than 100 plastic water bottles per person are transported every year, which amounts to 15 million tonnes of plastic and 8 million tonnes of CO2 in total. You are wondering what makes waterdrop® so refreshingly sustainable?
1: We love H2O.
Our fruity cubes are pretty straight forward: All they need is fresh water and your favourite drink is all set. It's a #winwin situation: with our cubes you do not only drink more sustainably, but also save up to 98% of plastic compared to a conventional single-use bottle.
2: We are less CO2.
In times when everything has to move fast, we prefer to travel light: Unlike plastic bottles or cans, only the essence of delicious drinks is shipped, so we save up to 98% in CO2 emissions compared to the transport of bottled drinks.
3: We are recyclable.
From old to new! Our PP blister is not only wafer-thin, it can also be recycled. The amount of plastic required for the cap of a single plastic bottle can produce up to 10 waterdrop blisters.
4: We love durability.
Our sustainable accessories made of high-quality borosilicate glass, stainless steel, porcelain and bamboo not only help you drink enough water all day long, you also make a significant contribution to reducing plastic waste. The core of these accessories are undoubtedly our glass bottles made in Europe.
5: We are plastic-positive.
We are a proud partner of Plastic Bank. For every pack of waterdrop® sold, 1 plastic bottle is collected from the environment. This does not only amount to 4 times more plastic than our packaging needs, but also creates new jobs. This commitment officially makes us a plastic-positive company.
Sustainability has no expiration date.

Protect what you love.
Our cubes contain the finest extracts from pure fruits and plants. These are currently enclosed in a packaging made of recyclable PP. So why is that?
On the one hand, this is the only way to protect them from moisture and oxygen in a 100% airtight and hygienic way, otherwise they will go off too quickly – just like fruit & vegetables. On the other hand, we can completely refrain from using any preservatives.
We are looking ahead: We are continuously researching new, even more sustainable packaging solutions that meet our strict criteria and are committed to always implementing the best possible solution.
